Electrification profoundly transforms the architecture of competition vehicles. Whether it is a 100% electric vehicle, a hybrid engine or the conversion of an existing platform, the performance no longer depends solely on the powertrain: it is based on the ability to Storing, converting, distributing and controlling energy efficiently.

Electric motor, inverter, batteries, battery management systems and control electronics must function as a coherent whole. Each component directly influences the performance, range, power availability and reliability of the vehicle.

This development also introduces new constraints. Voltages and powers increase, thermal management becomes decisive and permanent battery monitoring is essential. The architecture must be able to detect anomalies, protect the equipment and transmit to the vehicle the information necessary for its operation and diagnosis.

From the retrofit of an existing vehicle to the development of an electric or hybrid prototype, each project thus imposes a balance between Performance, mass, footprint, safety and energy management. The sizing of the motor and the inverter must be consistent with the battery, while the BMS monitors the cells and participates in the control of the entire energy system.
