Every control, driving or optimisation strategy begins with reliable measurement. XAP develops architectures that integrate hundreds of heterogeneous sensors into a single electronic system.
Whether for a race car, professional drone, vessel, industrial machine or energy system, physical quantities to measure include temperature, pressure, flow, position, acceleration, speed, mechanical load, voltage, current, power, fuel level, logical states, vibration, GPS and inertial data.
XAP sensor solutions accept analogue and digital sensors, frequency signals, strain gauges, thermocouples, PT100/PT1000 probes, Hall-effect sensors, incremental and absolute encoders, smart CAN sensors and connected industrial sensors.
The goal is not simply to measure, but to deliver stable, synchronised and repeatable measurements in severe environments. Signal conditioning, electrical protection and time synchronisation make it possible to correlate hundreds of parameters accurately.
Data-acquisition modules: centralising analogue and digital data in distributed architectures
Rather than concentrating every input in one central unit, XAP uses intelligent acquisition modules installed close to instrumented equipment. Each module conditions, digitises and synchronises signals before sending them to main controllers through CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet or other industrial buses.
This distributed architecture reduces harness length, improves electromagnetic immunity, simplifies mechanical integration and increases overall reliability. It can supervise a few dozen or several thousand variables within one coherent system.
