Measurement is the first stage of an intelligent system; action is its outcome. After acquiring and interpreting sensor data, the physical equipment that changes the machine state must be controlled. Electromagnetic actuators form the interface between the digital world and mechanical phenomena.
For more than thirty years, XAP has designed electronics for critical equipment where reliability allows no compromise. Its solutions precisely control power relays, solenoid valves, high-voltage contactors, electric motors, pumps, fans, cylinders, clutches, brakes and hydraulic or pneumatic devices.
Each command is monitored, protected, time-stamped and integrated in a complete control strategy. XAP boards generate commands, monitor current, detect electrical faults, track energy consumption and continuously check that actuators operate correctly.
Solutions support on/off and high-precision proportional control, including PWM, acceleration ramps, current limiting, position holding, sequential control and fail-safe procedures. In electric powertrains they manage high-voltage contactors, precharge boards, battery contactors, emergency isolation, cooling systems and power converters.
XAP software configures, diagnoses and supervises every actuator. Events, operating states, electrical consumption and faults feed predictive maintenance, performance analysis and traceability.
